John H. Cluver, AIA, LEED
DIRECTOR OF HISTORIC PRESERVATION
John H. Cluver, AIA, LEED, received his Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in structural engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1994, where he was awarded the Gertrude S. Sollitt Award and the AIA Henry Adams Award. That same year, he joined Voith & Mactavish Architects as a project architect and is currently the senior associate of the firm.

Having received a Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania (2000), John also serves as Director of Historic Preservation. He currently brings this expertise to the master plan for the phased renovation and expansion of the historic Bryn Mawr Theater for the Bryn Mawr Film Institute, the restoration of the facade for Old Original Bookbinders, and the rehabilitation of building M7 at the Naval Yard for PDIC. He has also been responsible as project manager for the award-winning rehabilitation of the Frank Furness Centennial Bank Building into the Paul Peck Alumni Center for Drexel University, the restoration of the exterior to 833 Chestnut East, and the restoration of the Westphal Picture Gallery for Drexel University.
