Millbrook School

MILLBROOK, NEW YORK

In May 2000, this residence hall typified 1970’s construction with stucco façade, asphalt shingled roof, and small, randomly placed window openings. Over the course of the next eleven weeks, the exterior was completely stripped of these materials, the windows resized and reorganized, and the interior completely renovated. When students returned to school in September, they were welcomed to campus by a completely transformed Abbott Hall which anchors the campus with its quiet but steadfast presence.
