This 20,000 sf Middle School addition was the first major step in executing the strategic Educational Vision to Reality Plan, which expressed the school’s desire “to create an open and flexible, child-centered learning environment that fosters the mission of Gwynedd-Mercy Academy...” Designed to satisfy the specific goals of providing consistently smaller class sizes and a consolidated arts program, this dedicated grade 6–8 wing features a new, wireless science suite with access to both lab tables and study desks encouraging a research rich, inquiry based educational environment.
