Sited to create a new quad on this pastoral, 100-acre campus located on the ”Main Line” in suburban Philadelphia, this new Arts Center will anchor the south end of this independent school campus providing a transition between the formal academic campus and the playing fields. A new 600-seat theatre forms the core of the building. The theatre is wrapped by music classrooms and art studios supporting the school’s vibrant performing and fine arts curricula. An 80-seat band rehearsal room, 50-seat chorus room, state-of-the-art recording studio and large set design studio comprise the performance ensemble, while 2D and 3D fine arts and ceramic studios round out the curriculum. The generously proportioned lobby doubles as a gallery and reception space.
