Huntingdon Valley Country Club

Huntingdon Valley, PA

The historic clubhouse at this private golf club was in need of renovation to improve opportunities for social gatherings to support and diversify the club’s membership base. The 2,800 sf dining room now offers a comfortably elegant setting and views of the new 3,000 sf slate terrace and golf course below. Adding visual interest, large decorative columns and a curvilinear partition separate the dining area with the adjoining piano bar. Renovations included the expansion and refinishing of a 1960s addition to seamlessly integrate it into the existing south facade. With matching stone masonry, large wood-framed windows, a new pitched roof with a cupola and decorative balustrade, the addition is now consistent with the historic architecture of the existing building.
