Silver LEED certified McLendon Hall provides 165 beds for upper classmen in suite style configuration. Each floor features a centrally located pod for small group study or socializing while a student center on the ground floor provides multiple lounge spaces, a student business center, a club room, a laundry facility, a vending area/kitchenette, and a large Shop N’ Go. Among the building’s many sustainable design strategies is a geothermal heatpump system and “green screen” display which permits students to observe the building’s energy and water consumption and performance.
