Situated atop a hill overlooking Fairmount Park, the 6-story 55,000 sf dormitory offers suite-style housing and makes use of the natural grade of the site to feature picturesque views. With a terracotta roof, large windows, and an arched entranceway with decorative tile accents, the dorm is a contemporary interpretation of the campus verna-cular. A student center on the first floor provides a club room for student meetings, TV lounge, recreation room, formal lounge, snack bar/dining area, and health center to serve the entire community. Computer stations with wireless internet access are sprinkled along the serpentine corridor. An outdoor piazza provides a central gathering place and links this new building with an existing dorm and Library/Student Union building.
